Valedictory session of NSS special camp was conducted at Grama panchayat offce, Shainaplly village on 12.09.2019. Dr. D. Vishnuvardhan Reddy, Dean of student affairs (DSA) have attended as chief guest for the programme. Associate Dean Dr. P.Raghu Rami Reddy, along with the staff Mr. K. Rahul Vishwakarma, Assistant Professor (Ento), Dr. T. Archana, Assistant Professor (AEXT), Er. J.Veeranna, Assistant Professor (AENG) and NSS officer, Dr. K. Charan Teja, Assistant Professor (AGRO) and NSS officer, Smt. A. Avanthi, village sarpanch, other elected representatives and final year B. Sc. Agriculture students have participated in the programme. Dr. K. Charan Teja, Assistant Professor and NSS programme officer briefly presented the report on NSS activities conducted during 6th to 11th September 2019 in the village. The students shared their experiences on NSS special camp and thanked Associate Dean, staff, and villagers for their constant encouragement and their support. The villagers Thirupathaiah, Shankar and village secretary Mr. Lakshmi Narayana thanked the university administration and college staff for selecting their village for NSS special camp. They also appreciated sincere efforts of students and promised that they will bring change in the village with the path shown by the students and staff during this week. Then, Smt.Avanthi, Village Sarpanch once again thanked to the university and staff and students for conducting NSS special camp in their village. Later Dean of student affairs, Dr. D. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy along with Associate Dean and sarpanch have distributed certificates to all the NSS volunteers. Dr. P. Raghu Rami Reddy, Associate Dean briefed the gathering about the NSS activities and different programmes conducted as a part of village adoption. He also appreciated the efforts of staff and students during NSS Special camp. He informed that 170 villagers and nearly 400 livestock were treated as a part of NSS special camp. He also mentioned that near about 80 farmers have utilized the farmers training programme. He urged the students to continue service towards the society as a part of life. Later, Dean of student affairs addressed the gathering. In his speech, he thanked village sarpanch, villagers for providing facilities to organise this programme. He also thanked students and staff for their active participation in the programme and bringing change in the village during this camp. He also mentioned that students should habituate of serving the society in their routine life also. He also requested students to serve the forming community and villages and bring good name to the university and Nation. Finally, Er. J.Veeranna, Assistant Professor and NSS officer thanked all the members for their constant support and effort in making NSS special camp a tremendous success at Shainpally.
