Training Programme on value added products of Millets conducted by KVK, Kampasagar on 25-08-2020

The KVK, Kampasagar was conducted one day training programme on “Value addition of Millets” at Srinivasnagar (V), Miryalaguda (M) under Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA), Nalgonda on 25.8.2020. Dr. M.A. Aariff Khan, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Kampasagar has chaired the programme and briefed about health benefits of millets in present days and the role of self employment by women to increase income level. Sri. B. Venkata Ramana Choudary, Sarpanch, Srinivasnagar briefed activities of SHG women and requested KVK, Kampasagar for Technical Support. Smt. G. Krishnaveni, Research Associate (Home Science) briefed the importance of millets for better nutrition and nutritive values of millets and demonstrated Finger millet (Ragi) laddu and Sorghum laddu. Ms. J. Jeswanthi, SRF (Fisheries), KVK, Kampasagar, Smt. Vinila, Self Help Group Coordinator, Smt. Uma, Srinidhi Assistant Manager and 25 rural women of Srinivasnagar (V) were participated in the programme.
