Vanamahotsavam, plantation programme at Agricultural College, Adilabad on 17.08.2024

Agricultural College, Adilabad Organized Vanamahotsavam plantation activity on 17.08.2024 by involving all teaching and non-teaching staff and students,as per the instructions received from Registrar, PJTSAU. Dr Sreedhar Chauhan,Associate Dean,Agricultural College, Adilabad Explained about the importance of organizing Vana Mahotsavam-2024 programme and stressed for not only plantation of the saplings but also for upkeeping and monitoring the growth of the planted saplings for fulfilment of the objective of the programme. Around Sixty plant saplings, including Citrus (10 No.’s), Guava (10 No.), Java Plum (Allaneredu @ 10 No.), Sapota (05 No.) andJackfruit (@ 05 No.) were procured fromPrivate Nursery and few forest plants (20 No’s) from the Forest Office, Adilabad and planted at back side of the Girls Hostel in the campus.All the students, teaching and Nonteaching staff members have actively participated in planting the saplings.
