Video Conference with the farmers of Kumrumbheem Asifabad Mandal to the AWTs under Poshan Maah -2020 by KVK, Bellampalli on 22-09-2020

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bellampalli, Mancherial conducted virtual training programme in collaboration with the Reliance foundation on model nutri garden and balanced diet as a part of POSHAN MAAH (Prime Minister's Overreaching Scheme for Holistic Nourishment) and capacity development programme to Anganwadi teachers, workers and farm women which is intended to spread awareness on various aspects of nutrition to address malnutrition by bringing change in the food habit through creating consciousness on different interventions on 22nd September, 2020. Dr. M. Rajeshwar Naik, Programme Coordinator, KVK Bellampalli explained in detail about the purpose of balanced diet to the Anganwadi workers, supervisors, pregnant and normal women from 25 villages of Kumrumbheem Asifabad Disrict (Aspirational district). Later, Smt. U. Sravanthi, SMS (Horticulture) explained to the women participants about the importance and necessary steps for installation of model nutri garden in front of their home and Anganwadi centers. For this programme, Sri Virabadram, Manager, Sri Jayawardhan, Programme Supporter of the Reliance Foundation and 25 Anganwadi workers, supervisors and farm women were participated.
