District Agricultural Advisory and Transfer of Technology Centre (DAATTC) & Department of Agriculture jointly organized Field Day in Bengalgram on the occasion of world pulses day in Burgupalli village Sadashipet (M) Sangareddy (District). This year the theme of the day is “Pulses to empower youth in achieving sustainable agri food system” It is a well-known fact that pulses have highly nutritious properties and are a very important part of a healthy diet for humans. In this Farmer interaction(Field day) meeting explained to the farmers about the importance of pulses cultivation for nutritional security and sustainable agriculture and also explained about the pests & disease management in pulse crops. briefed about the good practices of pulses cultivation. enlightened about the cultivation of Bengalgram crop preceding to Cotton crop and role of other pulse crops for soil nutrient enrichment. In this programme Scientists of DAATT Centre K.Rahul Viswakarma and K.Saritha , Rt.ADA, Gulam Ahmed and a total 32 farmers were participated
