World radio day was celebrated at Agricultural College Warangal on 13.02.2020. Farmer Oriented Livelihood Knowledge (FOLK Radio), radio club as it is named was inaugurated on this occasion by Associate Dean Dr. T.Ramesh. Professor Dr. B. Vidhyadhar is acting as chairmen where Dr.P.Bhargavi and Dr.N.Hema sarath Chandra are acting as members of the club. The main purpose behind promotion of radio club is to provide a platform for the students to improve their interpersonal skills by exhibiting their unseen talents to support PJTSAU’s chenukaburlu programme. The programme was initiated by a introductory note by Dr.B.Vidhyadhar. Later the students very enthusiastically performed various programs such as poetry, script writing, songs, play-let there by conveying a message through it. Few students explained the process of transmission and function of radio systems. Associate Dean added his remarks to the session by appreciating the efforts of students and staff. The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. N. Hema Sarat Chandra by adding a note that radio is not something outdated but it is the need of the hour as it has the potential to reduce mobile phone addiction.
