CAE, Kandi Organized a Programme on World Soil Day at CAE, Sangareddy & Adopted Village Kashipur on 04th, December, 2021

College of Agricultural Engineering, Kandi, Sangareddy organized a programme on World Soil Day at CAE, Sangareddy & Adopted Village Kashipur on 04th, December, 2021 in collaboration with SBI as per the University orders. At college level different competitions Viz., Essay Writing, Elocution, Painting and Documentary preparation were conducted and the prize winners have been sent to University level for participation in the events. CAE, Sanagreddy received First prize in Documentary preparation and Second prize in painting. The same programme was also conducted at adopted village Kashipur. On this occasion a guest lecture was arranged on “Soil testing & importance and integrated use of manures and fertilizers” by Dr. M. A. Aariff Khan, Senior Professor (Retd), PJTSAU, Hyderabad. Dr. T.N. Tripaty, AGM & Faculty, SBI Rural Business (SBIRB) addressed the gathering on the supply of agricultural inputs, sanctioning of agricultural loans, crop loans and tractor loans. Finally a quiz programme was conducted for farmers and prize winners were felicitated with cash prizes. The programme was witnessed by Dr. K. Srinivasa Kumar, Associate Dean, CAE, Sangareddy, Dr. M. A. Aariff Khan, Senior Professor (Retd), PJTSAU, Hyderabad, Dr. T.N. Tripaty, AGM & Faculty, SBI Rural Business (SBIRB), Sri. G. Kalyan, Regional Manager, Sangareddy, Sri. N. N. Srinivasa Rao, Branch Manager, Kandi, Dr. D. Vaidyanath Agricultural Officer, Sangareddy, Smt. Chaithanya, Agricultural Officer, Kandi, Sri. Fareeda Begum Village Sarpanch, Committee members Dr. Y. Siva Lakshmi, Associate Professor, Dr. Ch. Srilatha, Asst. Professor, Dr. P. Ramesh, Asst. Professor, Dr. D. Anil Kumar, Asst. Professor and Er. Naveen Kumar Asst. Professor along with 70 farmers participated in the programme.
