Celebration of World Soil Day at College of Food Science and Technology, Rudrur

The World Soil Day was celebrated at College of Food Science and Technology, Rudrur. The Associate Dean, Teaching staff and Students were participated in the event. All the Staff and students of CFST were joined in online webinar i.e., Guest Lecture on Soil Health key to achieving SDG's in view of World Soil Day - 2021 celebrations conducted by College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad at 2:00 P.M. Later on the students and staff were spoken about World Soil Day. After that Dr. R. Swamy, Associate Dean handed over the certificates and prizes to the winners who won the events in essay writing, elocution and drawing/ painting relevant to World Soil Day conducted in College of Food Science & Technology. After that the Associate Dean spoken about the importance of soil health, how the soil health can be managed and what are the measures to be taken out. He encouraged all the students to be responsible for each and every activity and work with commitment for their growth. The programme was concluded with vote of thanks and acknowledged the speakers and participants. All the precautionary measures like maintaining physical distance, wearing mask and sanitizing the hands were followed during the programme due to COVID 19 pandemic.
