Awareness Programme on "World Water Day" by KVK, Nizamabad

KVK, Rudrur Organized ‘World Water Day’ at Gram panchayat of Jakora village, Varni mandal, Nizamabad district on 23.03.2021 with the theme of “Valuing Water” for 2020-21. Dr. M. Suresh, SMS (Crop Production) and Sri. P. Vijay kumar, SMS (Plant Protection) created awareness among farmers regarding efficient utilization of water, and water storage techniques, water saving techniques like AWD in rice fields, irrigation to different crops at critical stages as life saving irrigation, crop diversification towards low water consuming crops. Crop shifts towards short duration varieties incase of Rice etc. Farmers are indulged in water conservation Pledge. Attended around 25 farmers participated in the programme.
