Zoo Education Awareness programme at College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar to create awareness on the wild life on 04-09-2021

Zoo Education awareness programme was organised by the College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad to create awareness on the wild life for the benefit of the students of the College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar in coordination with the Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad on 04.09.2021. Smt VVL Subhadra Devi, Curator, Nehru Zoological Park and the alumni of the College of the Agriculture, Rajendranagar was the chief guest of the programme. The event was started with the brief ortientation about the programme and its purpose by Dr C.Narendra Reddy, the Associate Dean, College of Agriculture, Rajendrnagar who highlighted the need for the extreme awareness on the wild life and need for the same as the entire world is facing the problem of extinction of wild life flora and fauna. Latter on, Smt. VVL Subhadra Devi , the Deputy conservator of forest and Curator, Nehru Zoological Park gave a power point presentation on the over view of wild life, the conservation actvities of the Nehru Zoological Park and the importance of adoptation of the wild animals of the individuals and the role of the studetns for the same. She has interacted with the students on the occasion. A video on the wild life and about the activities of Nehru Zoological park was showcased to the studetns. An exhibition depicting various wild life conservation activities and the over view of wild life flora and fauna was arranged for the benefit of the students. The faculty, students and the staff of Nehru Zoological park have attended the programme.
