Agricultural Education Day celebrations at College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar on 03.12.2022

The College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar has celebrated Agricultural Education day on 03.12.2022 on the eve of birth anniversary of Dr Babu Rajendra Prasad. The programme was organized with an aim to create awareness to the school children about agriculture in general and to attract them towards agriculture as a profession in particular. The programme was inaugurated by Dr Seema , Dean of Agriculture and Dr V Anitha, Dean of PG Studies. On the occasion, various departments of the College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar have established stalls depicting various technologies and products of the university for the benefit of the school children. PG and PhD research scholars of the college have taken active part in the celebrations and explained the technologies and products to school children under the guidance of heads of the departments and faculty. Certificates were distributed to the winners of various competition conducted during the occasion by Dr J. Satyanarayana, Dean of Student Affairs in the presence of Dr Sudhakar, Professor (Academic) and Dr C Narendra Reddy, Associate Dean. Heads of the Department, PG and PhD research scholars, faculty, and students attended the programme. About 1500 students from various schools have participated in the agricultural education day programme from different schools of Hyderabad.
