CA, R'Nagar-NSS Unit-A Report on World AIDs Day on 01.12.2022

College of Agriculture, NSS unit, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad organized “World AIDs Day” on 01.12.2022. Each year, on 1st, December, the world commemorates World AIDS Day. People around the world unite to show support for people living with HIV and to remember those who have died from AIDS-related illnesses. Each World AIDS Day focuses on a specific theme, which this year will be Equalize. United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) is urging each of us to address the inequalities which are holding back progress in ending AIDS. This year’s theme joins a growing list of challenges that World AIDS Day has alerted people too globally. Teaching, non-teaching staff and NSS P.O’s, students along with Associate Dean, AELP directors, HOD’s gathered at College portico. Associate Dean explained about the HIV/AIDS to the students and made them aware on HIV/AIDS issues. All the faculty, NSS P.O’s, NSS volunteers participated in awareness rally in and around college premises and Premavathipet and rise the slogans to create awareness among the public. This programme was graced by Dr. C. Narendra Reddy, Associate Dean, HOD,s, Senior faculty, NSS P.O’s, AELP directors.
