College of Food Science and Technology, Rudrur NSS Special Camp on 11-12-2019: Mega Health Camp

As a part of NSS special camp, on 4th day College of Food Science and Technology, PJTSAU has conducted Mega health camp at Ambam village on 11-12-2019. This camp was started by Dr. R. Swamy, Associate Dean of College of Food Science and Technology, Rudrur and other people representatives. The programme was organized and attended by Er. G. Rajender, NSS Officer, Teaching staff, Non-Teaching staff, NSS volunteers, Medical staff, Lions Club Coordinator and Local public representives. The free health checkup constituted of general health checkup, eye, ECG and dental checkup. Under this camp, free health checkup was conducted to the people of Ambam village and medicines were distributed. Villagers visited this Mega Health Camp has expressed their heartfelt wishes for conducting the camp and supply of medicines in their village. Through this Mega Health Camp 494 patients were treated with different confirmation tests.
