Associate Director of Research, Regional Agricultural Research Station, Warangal (RARS) paid rich floral tribute to Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar on his 132nd birth anniversary on 14.04.2023. ADR apprised that B.R. Ambedkar, popularly known as Babasaheb Ambedkar, was an economist, politician, and social reformer who fought for the rights of the Dalit community who were considered as untouchables back in the day. A principal architect of the Constitution of India, Ambedkar also advocated for women's rights and labours' rights. Recognized as the first Law and Justice Minister of Independent India, Ambedkar's contribution to construct the entire concept of Republic of India is immense. To honour his contribution and service to the country, his birthday is celebrated every year on the 14th of April. All the teaching and non-teaching staff of RARS, Warangal also paid homage to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar with flowers and shared their views.
