Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kampasagar organised Parthenium awareness programme from 16th August, 2023 to 22nd August, 2023

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kampasagar has organised Parthenium eradication awareness programme. In this programme awareness programme conducted at KVK, Kampasagar on 18.08.2023. In this programme scientists explained about the menace of Parthenium in crops and in human beings. Scientists explained about allergy, asthama caused by Parthenium in human beings, and its spread in field level. Scientists also educated the farmers about the management of Parthenium. Famers uprooted the Parthenium at KVK premises. Farmers of Japthiveerappa gudem and Srinivasa Nagar villages were participated in this programme. Campaign programme on Parthenium eradication was conducted at Yerrabelli village on 19.08.2023. In this programme scientists along with RAWEP students campaigned and educated the villagers regarding Parthenium spread and its eradication. In this programme, Scientists Dr. K. Chandra Shaker, SMS (Crop Production), Smt. A. Ramulamma, SMS (Plant Protection) and Smt. S. Pallavi, SMS (Agril. Extension) were participated.
