KVK, BKDM - Training programme on direct seeding rice cultivation in Rabi season at Chittiramavaram Village, Chunchupally Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem Dist. on 20-12-2023

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem has conducted training programme on direct seeding rice cultivation in Rabi season in at Chittiramavaram Village, Chunchupally Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem District on 20.12.2023. In this programme Dr. R. Srinivasa Rao, SMS (Crop Production) addressed farming community on the direct seeding methods in Rabi rice cultivation. The farmers interacted with the scientist on time of sowing, seed rate and seed treatment etc. SMS (Crop production) has explained to the farmers about 24Hrs soaked seeds are broadcasting in the levelling puddled field equally for 15-20Kg per acre, 15-20 days after sowing Bispyriback sodium should be applied 100 ml per acre along with 6- 8 grms Metsulfuonmethyle and Chlorimuron ethyle per control of weeds. Application of phosphorus (DAP 50 kg), Murate of potash (25 kg) should be applied per acre as basal and after weed management (20 days after sowing) 35 kg nitrogen should be apply in the field. In this programme MAO, AEO were participated along with 70 farmer and farmwomen were attended and interacted with scientist regarding Rabi crop condition, seasonal pest and disease management strategies in different crops.
