Independence Day Celebrations on 15-08-2021, at RARS, Palem

Regional Agricultural Research Station, Palem has celebrated 75th Independence Day on 15-08-2021 at 9.00 am. On this occasion, Dr. Ch. Damodar Raju, Associate Director of Research, RARS, Palem and all teaching, non-teaching and Ministerial staff of RARS, Palem were participated in the celebrations by following measures like using mask and maintaining social distance during Flag Hoisting ceremony. First of all, the national flag was hoisted by Dr. Ch. Damodar Raju, ADR, RARS, Palem and all in unison sang the National Anthem to pay homage to the nation. Later Dr. Ch. Damodar Raju, ADR, RARS, Palem gave an impressive speech about the historic day and the efforts of numerous freedom fighters of India and said that the sovereignty and integrity of the country should be maintained. It was also stressed to take up all safety measures by the teaching and non-teaching staff during COVID-19 pandemic period. The programme was ended with the distribution of refreshments.
